2008 Registration Changes

In the past, your B&W convention registration has included a convention commemorative. The B&W Board has never required anything special to receive this commemorative other than showing up at convention and paying your registration fee. This method has required the Board to guess how many members will attend convention. This guess determines the quantity of commemoratives and meals that are ordered. The past several years we have ordered too many commemoratives which has cost the club. We would like members who are attending convention to register early. By doing so the Club will have a more accurate count of the quantity of commemoratives and meals that need to be ordered. In the long run, this will save the Club money by not ordering too many items.

If you want to receive your commemorative at convention, you must register by April 30. Your registration date will be determined based upon your postmark. If you register after April 30, the Club can't guarantee that there will be a commemorative or meals available for you at convention. If there isn't a commemorative available, you may sign up to receive your commemorative later by paying the cost of postage and handling of $8.

If you have not mailed your registration by June 6, please bring the completed form with you to convention and take care of your registration at that time. Since our treasurer is traveling from Colorado, late registrations may not reach her in time, however, you can E-Mail Karen and let her know you are coming so your name tag can be printed and plan for your meals.

In addition, please realize that if you register late, we may not be able to accommodate you for the Thursday night round up party or the Saturday night banquet. Meal count numbers are submitted to the hotel prior to the start of convention.
